Are you eligible for SDA? Use the easy, online tool today.

Article by Vera Living & SDA Services

The SDA Eligibility Tool is designed to assess your likelihood of accessing Specialist Disability Accommodation funding.

For many NDIS participants, living an independent life in your own home is a major goal, just like everyone else. One of the first steps towards achieving that goal is to determine if you are eligible for Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), funded under the NDIS. This process can be long and confusing.

Vera Living and SDA Services have created a free, online SDA eligibility tool.

The SDA Eligibility Tool is designed to assess your likelihood of accessing Specialist Disability Accommodation funding.

How does it work?

The questions asked are carefully measured against the legislative requirements determining SDA eligibility. Your answers determine the likelihood of your eligibility, so that you can discuss this with Vera Living, your Support Coordinator or your other supports.

How accurate is it?

The system is designed by Vera Living, a market-leading SDA provider and SDA Services, one of Australia’s leading Support Coordination services. Your answers are scored against specific categories required to meet eligibility for SDA funding. The resulting report can then be used to open conversations with other supports like your Occupational Therapist and Support Coordinator, to apply for SDA funding.

Is it confidential?

The security of your personal information is of the utmost importance to Vera Living and they use all reasonable endeavours to keep your information in a secure environment and to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorized access, modification or disclosure.

How do I access it?

The tool is free and easy to use via the SDA eligibility website.
