About the Vacancy

Number of Vacancies = 2

This vacancy would suit a male between the ages of 25 and 45, who is semi-independent, enjoys their own company but also likes to socialise. Non smoker and ideally with 1:2 or 1:3 funding.

The current house member is a 33 year old male who enjoys colouring, watching TV, going to movies, and outdoor activities like going to movie world and sea world. He attends Challenge Day Programs 4 days a week and enjoys getting out into the community with his Challenge team, going to the beach and the gym.

About the Area

Deebing Heights is just 15 minutes to Ipswich and 35 minutes to the Brisbane CBD. The home is located just 5 minutes drive from Yamanto Central where you will find shopping, pharmacies and medical services.

Support and Funding

Challenge provides 24/7 support staff, including overnight sleepover or active support. Our staff are committed to providing the house members with a high level of support to develop and build life skills including personal care, budgeting, shopping, cooking, maintaining the living environment and social skills. All house members are encouraged to be active in the local community.
