This modern home is a large, family style home which offers support for young male adults with a mild-moderate disability and/or mental health support needs. It is located in a new residential estate in Mudgee.

The home provides comfort, independence, social interaction and peace of mind for family members and carers.

The open vacancy will best suit a male with low-moderate support needs aged 18-35.

Mudgee is a town northwest of Sydney in NSW. Mudgee is known for it's colonial buildings, wineries and fine food. Some local attractions include the Mudgee Observatory and the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Wollemi National Park.

Support and Funding

Challenge provides 24/7 support staff, including overnight sleepover or active support. Our staff are committed to providing the house members with a high level of support to develop and build life skills including personal care, budgeting, shopping, cooking, maintaining the living environment and social skills. All house members are encouraged to be active in the local community.

Applicants must have NDIS funding for Supported Independent Living. Challenge residential fees include rent, food, utilities, home maintenance, internet access, basic streaming service, communal appliances and communal area furniture.
