All apartments offer floor-to-ceiling windows bathed in natural light. Timber flooring with neutral palettes so the panoramic views of Geelong’s stunning north-facing bay serve as the backdrop to everyday life. The apartments have a minimalistic design, providing an abundance of space. All apartments feature private accessible terraces perfect for alfresco dining and entertaining guests.

Geelong is well-known and much loved for its extensive city feel, without the congestion. The award-winning Geelong Waterfront is a popular destination and one of Australia’s most stunning foreshores.

The Ryrie Home Apartments are located only 1km from the seaside, providing easy access to the Geelong Waterfront with cafes and shopping nearby. The Geelong train station also provides a direct route to the Melbourne CBD.

In line with the Enliven Housing philosophy, the development will support Improved Liveability, Fully Accessible and High Physical Support categories.

The apartments are generous in size, with the highest inclusions as well as structural provisions for ceiling hoists and are Assistive Technology ready. These apartments are designed and certified in accordance with the SDA Design Standard category High Physical Support.

Tenants have the opportunity to join the Enliven Community Cooperative, a unique arrangement, that offers a great way to get the most from your NDIS Core Support budget. The Tenant controlled Cooperative gives you the opportunity to optimise shared support with other SDA funded residents in the complex with like-minded people who want to live their best life too.

On-site support may be available 24/7 based on the Community Cooperative needs via two-way communications with the support worker. Enliven Housing has partnered with SDA Assistive Technologies to incorporate our smart home technology offering tenants flexibility, independence and privacy.

Application Criteria

Community Cooperative Living provides a great way for you to get the most from your NDIS Core Support budget because you have the opportunity to optimise shared support with other residents in Your SDA complex; who are like-minded people, who live close by.

Enliven Housing Community Cooperative tenants collectively manage the selection of the support provider who provides the shared on-site support service. The Cooperative decide the extent and type of supports that are to be shared.

Enliven Housing provides housing for people with a range of disabilities, who live in apartment complexes with other members of the wider community

While no two Enliven Housing Cooperatives are identical, because they are shaped and designed by the individual members - they all share three key aspects:

1. Selection and management of the on-site support provider

2. Creating windows of support

3. Off-site or additional resource sharing opportunities

This is not the Concierge model, the support is not on call emergency support, it is actually participant directed shared ratios of support that have been agreed to optimise your NDIS Plan core support budgets. This is not a SIL model, we are not submitting a Roster of Care through a SIL provider quote. This is a tenant controlled support cooperative and to our understanding, the first of its kind.
