SEEKING HOUSEMATE

I am a single male looking for a housemate to join me in a brand new, 2 bedroom SDA house in Beacon Hill.

Key details are:

- SDA Funding required at High Physical Support level.

- Two-person Supported Independent Living (SIL) share house (in a SDA property)

- A good level of 1:1 funding around personal care and mealtimes with shared support funding for overnight and at other times during the week.

I would like my housemate to be:

- Male preferably but will consider a female

- 35-55 years old preferably but subject to interests etc.

- No behaviours of concern

- Social

- Must be able to share some supports with me

About Me

I am a fun, outgoing, social, enthusiastic man in my mid 40’s with a warm personality and deep care for others.

I enjoy getting out and about in the local community, going to concerts, movies, the RSL and sporting events along with watching TV at home, especially the footy.

My condition affects my communication however once people get to know me, they can generally understand me and I use an electric wheelchair so the new house will be great as it is purpose built to accommodate mobility aids.
