Supported Accommodation for Youth (18 to 24) - All Males

Goaldis Community Services are a specialist Mental Health NDIS Provider based in Western Sydney.

We offer Supported Accommodation for Young Men between 18 to 25 who have a Psychosocial Disability or Mental Health condition. Our home is in the quiet side of St Marys, NSW and is in close proximity to Penrith, The Blue Mountains and a short drive to Parramatta.

We accept Young Males who have:

• Mental Health Conditions that affect their daily living skills, and are challenged in accessing the community.

• Challenging Behaviours and require support in emotional regulation, implementing behaviour supports, and developing frameworks to engage in with others.

• Forensic History and are limited in their housing options.

Our Supported Accommodation offers young men the ability to build independence, reside with like-minded peers and improve their connections to community.

We are partnered with local Indigenous Community Groups, Employment Providers and Education Institutions to offer a range of skill building and vocational pathways for young

men to develop skills needed to earn an income, or participant in life.

We offer range of in-house activities

including:

• Fishing

• River Walks

• Ping Pong & Playstation

• Engagement with local Employment Initiatives

• Access to gyms and local recreational facilities

• Assistance with shopping and budgeting

• Access to Indigenous mentors

Our Team:

• Consist of support workers who are trained in Youth Work, Mental Health, Alcohol and Drugs and Disability.

• Are trained on medications, managing challenging behaviours and documentation.

• Believe in active engagement with our participants.

We source our staff through local TAFE’s, Community and Government Initiatives.
