We are seeking a housemate with high physical and complex support needs to co-tenant with two people with Cerebral Palsy.

The ideal tenant is a person with NDIS funding for SDA accommodation and Core Supports including SIL with either a 1:2 or 1:3 ratio of care, and who is interested in a co-tenant arrangement in this comfortable and spacious Sunshine Coast home.

About the tenants

The current tenants are non-verbal and require high-intensity daily personal supports.

Both tenants love to listen and bop along to their favourite tunes and enjoy being outdoors in the cool breeze.

Community participation is a common activity where both tenants enjoy doing things together, with visits to the beach and local zoos, as well as train trips to Brisbane, some of the outings they enjoy most.

About the support teamTeam members are trained to deliver high-intensity daily personal activities (HIDPA) and work together to deliver coordinated supports that include household responsibilities and fun and engaging activities at home with lots of community participation.

A community nurse provides training and ongoing support and guidance to the team to follow care plans and complete high-intensity daily support activities including PEG feeding.

About the propertyThis property has three bedrooms each with its own bathroom, and is fully accessible with loads of space and functionality. The property has a wide hallway, door frames, open-plan bathrooms, and plenty of household and personal storage space.

This comfortable home includes a spacious open-plan lounge, dining, and kitchen area that is the perfect area to relax. The kitchen features low-level and adjustable bench designs that make it easy to help prepare and cook meals.
