There is a wheelchair accessible van (can accommodate 3 wheelchairs) that belongs to the house and is shared between housemates.Each room has a ceiling hoist, built in wardrobe and a hi-lo bed that can be used if needed. One room is large and close to the shared living space.
The second room, moderately sized, gives view of front garden and street.
A quiet area with some local parks. There is a café nearby.

Currently 3 delightful housemates reside in the home. All use wheelchairs and have significant support needs. They are gentle people who will engage quietly once they get to know someone.

The housemates communicate in a nonverbal way, slowly getting a sense of each other, without having obvious communication between them.
They like to listen to music (Elvis, classics, and mood music) and live in a peaceful environment. They like to go out to different places and are supported to do so.
The housemates benefit from being supported by consistent, caring support staff including 24 hour direct nursing support
Ideally our new housemate will be peaceful.
They will fit in well if they have similar support needs in terms of being a wheelchair user, needing full support and who would benefit from nursing supports.
