The clinical capability is all there — it just doesn't look like it.
We own this home. It is not rented from an outside landlord who could sell the house or end a lease, so this is a long-term, stable home for the people who live here.
You choose your team. Every Care Alliance client has an approved team. Our Rosters & Teams department calls you or your representative to discuss potential new team members. If you approve, the worker does a shadow shift at our expense. After it we call to ask whether you want that worker on your team: yes, no, or more training first. There is never any pressure to have anyone on your team who isn't the right fit for you, and we only ever roster from your approved team.
Guided by our nurses and our psychologists. Your support team receives clinical guidance and training from both our registered nurses and our psychologists, so your physical and mental health benefit from great support that is backed by evidence.
What every Care Alliance SIL home carries: clinical oversight from our psychologists and registered nurses; registration for high-intensity daily personal activities, with staff trained by our RNs; approval to implement restrictive practices; a 24/7 on-call team behind every shift; and a dedicated wheelchair-accessible van on site, plus access to our 13-van fleet. Support ratios of 1:1, 1:2 and 1:3. A small, consistent team is recruited and trained in consultation with each resident and their allied health team. Fully wheelchair-accessible throughout. Wall-mounted 65" TV in every bedroom with streaming and free-to-air.
