LDS has a new vacancy available now at our home in the lovely Barossa Valley, in the town of Nuriootpa. This home is suited for people with 1:3 SIL funding in their plan. The home is neighbouring another SIL home with three friendly females, which creates a fantastic community feel. The homes are split by a communal courtyard often used for tea parties, picnics, and get-togethers with client families. Please note that the pond in the floorplan is no longer there, and instead, a new garden bed and shared area was created. The two groups often go out together on day trips and love spending time together, adding to the real family environment.
The home is accessible, with a walk-in shower and flat flooring. Each bedroom comes with it's own ensuite. With lots of natural light, this home is situated in a quiet suburban street with easy access to lovely leafy reserves and parks, bakeries and supermarkets, a medical centre a couple of minutes away, a local Lutheran church, and disability services such as supported employment not far away.
Existing clients are 2 males in their 40-50s who go to work during the day. They both love to spend time together playing board games, ping pong, dancing to music, and going out on day trips together in the van!
