WE OFFER 3 TYPES OF SUPPORTED ACCOMMODATION:

1. Short Term Accommodation & Assistance (Respite):
* For NDIS adult participants who require a ‘short-term stay’, in a supported home environment.
* Short Term Accommodation is an opportunity for NDIS participants to improve their daily living skills and for family/carers to ‘take a break’ from the demands of caring.
* The NDIS funds Short Term Accommodation and Assistance (STAA), for up to 14 days at a time.

2. Medium Term Accommodation & Assistance:
* For NDIS adult participants who require a ‘medium-term stay’, in a supported home environment. This includes participants who are ready to be discharged from hospital, or who are in an Aged Care facility.
* The NDIS funds the accommodation component (MTA), for up to 90 days.
* The support component can be claimed through the NDIS ‘Core Supports budget’.

3. Long Term Accommodation & Assistance:
* For NDIS adult participants who require a ‘long-term stay’, in a supported home environment.
* The accommodation component will need to be paid from your Disability Support Pension (DSP) and/or your personal income.
* The support component can be claimed through the NDIS ‘Core Supports budget’
