Applicant Suitability Criteria:
This home is intended for two NDIS participants seeking Supported Independent Living (SIL) in a shared living arrangement. Applications will be assessed based on individual support needs, compatibility with existing and prospective housemates, and the ability to safely and effectively support all residents within the home environment.
Preference may be given to applicants who:
Have approved SIL funding or are actively pursuing SIL funding through the NDIS.
Are seeking a shared living arrangement with one other participant.
Demonstrate compatibility with the lifestyle, routines, and support needs of other residents.
Have support needs that can be safely and effectively met within a 1:2 or shared support model.
Wish to live within the Clarence Valley region or have established connections to the local community.
Are committed to working towards increased independence, skill development, and community participation.
