Application Criteria
This property is available to NDIS participants with Supported Independent Living (SIL) funding in their plan, or who are seeking a SIL assessment. Applications are welcome from people of all backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants. There are no income or LGA restrictions — applicants from any area may apply, though the home is best suited to those wishing to live in the Macarthur region with access to local community, health, and transport services. Rent is set at an affordable rate consistent with NDIS participant contribution arrangements (25% of the Disability Support Pension plus Commonwealth Rent Assistance). Compatibility with current residents is considered as part of the intake process to ensure a safe and harmonious home for everyone. Applicants are encouraged to apply with the support of their support coordinator, LAC, or family/guardian.
