Ceiling hoist track is already installed in two of the bedrooms, with hoist provision in the other two, so a participant who needs a hoist can move in without waiting for works. Four participant places, each with its own bedroom and ensuite, plus an overnight assistance room for on-site support staff.
Fire sprinklers throughout the home, level entry, wide corridors and doorways, accessible bathrooms with hobless showers and grab rails, ducted air conditioning, and a large open plan kitchen, dining and living area opening to a covered deck and a level, fully fenced rear yard. Video intercom to each bedroom and the front entry. Four covered off-street car spaces beside the entry.
Better Living Solutions is the SDA provider. Supported Independent Living is delivered on site by Supporting Disabilities Australia, so a participant moving in joins an established support arrangement rather than having to build one from scratch.
The home is being enrolled at the moment and we are taking applications now. Register your expression of interest and we will be in touch as places are confirmed. The two bedrooms with ceiling hoists already installed are expected to be taken first, so anyone who needs a hoist is encouraged to get in touch early. Support coordinators, occupational therapists and families are all welcome to enquire. Suits participants who would like to be matched with compatible housemates in a small home of four. Permanent, medium term and short term stays considered.
