Three private bedrooms are available in a spacious four bedroom, two bathroom home in Haynes, in Perth’s south east. The house was built in 2016 and sits on a generous block on a quiet street, with support on site 24 hours a day.
This household is just forming, so no one has moved in yet. That gives you a rare chance to help shape who you live with. We match residents with each other as well as with the house, and we take it slowly: a visit first, then a shared meal once others are matched, then an overnight stay if everyone is comfortable.
The open plan kitchen and living area is the heart of the home. Residents can cook together or eat on their own, whatever suits them. The living spaces are roomy enough to move a walking frame through without furniture getting in the way. Outside there’s a large enclosed yard with lawn, garden beds and a paved alfresco area off the living room. NBN fibre is connected, so streaming, video calls and assistive technology all work well.
Our support team is on site around the clock, including overnight. Registered nurse oversight and clinical supports such as medication management, continence care and wound care are available where needed and funded, and we work alongside each resident’s GP and treating clinicians.
The home is single storey with step free entry. One available bedroom has an ensuite with a step in shower, and the main bathroom has a bathtub. It suits walking frames but has not been assessed for a powered wheelchair, and it is not registered SDA.
Shops, GP clinics, pharmacies and Armadale town centre are a short drive away, and we can arrange transport support.
Rose handles placements and usually calls back within one business day. Support coordinators are welcome to enquire on a participant’s behalf. Call or text Rose on 0422 711 516.
