Dulwich Hill 1 Bed Apartment

Newly built apartments for people with a psychosocial disability in a central Dulwich Hill location.

This is part of three full levels of the apartment block that Relatey have taken (see list of all available apartments at end of description). We hope that by taking full levels of apartments in a block we can look at elevating some of the common issues apartments have for people with psychosocial disability:

– Maximise Access and privacy for participants

– Allow for support to be provided in a way that is less invasive than would be if support could only stay in that one apartment.

– Encourage sociality between apartments: our goal (where suitable) is that each level will be set up as a large ‘home’ with different sections that allow them to be separate yet still encourage activities that are social between them such as shared meals and activities.

Apartment Features:

Newly built, Airconditioning, 1 bedroom (not a studio apartment), balcony .(some with private roof top terrace), security building. All our apartments are fully furnished – including bedrooms (unless the client wants to bring their own).

Location:

Close to many restaurants, public transport and outdoor leisure activities that the Cooks River has to offer.

Support:

o 24/7 overnight support

o Staff trained specifically to support people with psychosocial: We use Mental Health Disability Support Workers (MHDSW) or MH Peer Support Workers (MH PSW) which are trained with Relatey’s comprehensive MH Skill building and Supervision Program to ensure they have the knowledge and skills to confidently and appropriately support the participant.

o Expert leadership staff provide regular support for staff and participants.

o MH CNC On-Call and F2F in each home.

o All leadership roles have significant experience in MH (including MH Peer Support Worker and MH RN who has previously worked at MICHU for over 8 years)

Note: This listing is for a 1 bedroom apartment, however we also have 2 bed and 3 bedrooms available as well. Full list of apartments available are as follows:

- 2x 3 bed apartments - both have very large outdoor deck AND a private roof top area (1x apartment fully accessible).

- 4x 1 bedroom apartments (2x apartment is fully accessible)
